My Story
I am a part-time clinical intern here at Nurture and Nature Therapy Center. This is my advanced internship as I am nearing the completion of my master's degree in social work through Baylor University. I completed my generalist internship at Texas Children’s Meyer Center for Developmental Pediatrics.
My roots stem from the Midwest which is where I received my bachelor's degree. I graduated with my bachelor’s from Muskingum University located in Ohio in 2013. My professional background is centered around child welfare, specifically Child Protective Services. I spent 9 years investigating child abuse and neglect. In 2022, I chose to end my time with Child Protective Services to pursue my master's degree and and focus on becoming a parent.

I am eager to partner with clients to help them navigate through the challenges they are facing by utilizing evidence-based approaches. I hope to help clients build on their strengths and work on areas of growth while offering compassion and understanding along the way. I am committed to learning and developing professionally and personally through this opportunity.
