We are collaborated with Changing Tides Wellness and Advisors PLLC to bring you 6 hours of CEUs on Perinatal Mental Health. We hosted seminars in person and via zoom in October/November 2024. Each of these meetings was recorded so you can learn along with us even if you missed the initial offering! You can purchase individual events or all three! Kimberly with NNTC and Sherry with Changing Tides are both seasoned clinicians and Perinatal Mental Health Certified. They have been teaching about mental health together since finding each other in community mental health in 2016. PMADs 101 goes through the the different diagnoses included in the umbrella of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders with assessment tools, evidence based treatment guidance, and ways to help your clients prepare for a healthy postpartum experience. Infertility in Perinatal Mental Health gives an overview of the who, how, and why of infertility diagnoses and treatments as well as how infertility impacts different cultures. This presentation also talks about best practices in working with the infertility population in therapy. Navigating pregnancy provides psychoeducation on the different types of losses and experiences clients may go through during each type. This presentation also reviews theory on grief, the Art of Holding, and ways clients can access additional support. Special Considerations CEU includes Dads and PPD, Disabilities and PMADs, LGBTQIA+ populations, and BIPOC populations - what are the numbers, how do we know what to look for, how do we approach with cultural humility and how can we help our clients continue to advocate for themselves.
