My Story
I believe that every unique individual deserves a space to feel truly heard, have that space encouraged, and generate change that gets them closer to their desired outcomes for their life. I also recognize that seeking therapy is often vulnerable and uncharted territory. My goal is to be your partner in change and allow the modalities and therapeutic skills that fit you best to guide the way.

I received my BS in Social Work from Lamar University in Beaumont, TX in 2014 and my Masters in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2018. As a lifelong resident of Southeast Texas, I am intimately aware of the community’s strengths and challenges. My hope is to be a resource for our community (and beyond).
Professionally, I have been working in the mental health field since 2010. This experience has ranged across the span of mental health crisis work in community mental health, work with older adults in long term care, and currently in inpatient psychiatric work as the Manager of Psychiatric Programming. Collectively, these experiences have given me a deep understanding of the impact of mental health across all systems and remind me of the great resiliency of individuals.

I am a proud Clinical Director of two Critical Incident Stress Management Teams. Seeing the impact of secondary trauma and compassion fatigue feeds my passion for the mental health of first responders and helping professionals. I also have special interest in working with individuals and families navigating severe and persistent mental illness, new and difficult life transitions and look forward to gaining the opportunity to work with other populations.
In my spare time I enjoy quality time spent with family and friends, being outdoors, and cooking (and eating) a new recipe.

I accept Aetna, Cigna, and Self-Pay at a fee of $125/hour.
